Winnies Legacy Canine Rescue is a compassionate, non-profit rescue dedicated to saving highly adoptable dogs from high kill shelters and placing them in loving homes in the Vermont.

Our Mission

A significant part of our mission is about second chances. We're dedicated to finding responsible and caring forever homes and providing shelter for lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. We advocate for animals and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We implement educational programs and provide services to promote responsible pet ownership and the human-animal bond. And finally, we work tirelessly to prevent cruelty to animals.

Our group is staffed entirely by volunteers. 100% of all funds received go directly towards saving dogs and are used strictly for this purpose to include shelter fees, boarding fees, medical bills, transport fees, food, supplies, all in support of our mission.
